Some celebrities love Disney just as much as we do.
Lily Aldridge has launched her own products inside Disney World. John Stamos frequently visits the parks alongside his wife, Caitlin McHugh. And Mariah Carey was named “godmother” to the Disney Cruise Line’s Fantasy ship. But they’re not alone — the late Betty White was also a huge fan, and her Disney items have sold for thousands of dollars.
Julien’s Auctions is selling over 1,000 of Betty White’s personal belongings, and a ton of Disney items are included.
They already sold her 1989 Disney-MGM Studios “Outstanding Contribution to Television History” Trophy for $7,680. It was presented to her in 1989 and features a colorful mickey atop a wooden base.
Another award was the 1991 Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame Ceremony Appreciation Award. It sold for $6,400 and comes with the Mickey trophy and 3 photographs of Betty White with her bust in the TV Hall of Fame at Disneyland.
And take a look at the 2009 Disney Legends Award that sold for $19,200! This award was presented to her in 2009 and is a huge honor Disney gives to their “legends.”
And, speaking of it, they also sold the D23 Event Jacket that she wore while receiving the Disney Legends award. It sold for $3,840.
And those are only some of the cool items they auctioned off. Check out the rest of the catalog here. And for other cool Disney items, check out the 50th Anniversary merchandise you can get online. Or take a look at the Halloween merchandise that’s on shopDisney right now.
