It’s been another busy week of Disney news.
With all the recent Disney World reopenings, news from Disneyland, and everything else, it’s been hard keeping up with everything going on. So we’ve put together the biggest stories you’ll want to know about from t his week.
Here’s what you need to know.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has reopened
One of the most-anticipated hotel reopenings has finally happened — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been closed for refurbishment since last March, and only reopened to Disney Vacation Club members when Disney World reopened last summer. But now the resort is officially open again to ALL guests and the new Moana-themed rooms are now available!
And one of Disney World’s most popular bars there, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, reopened with the hotel — but if you’re wanting to visit this popular spot, be prepared to wait in a virtual line.

Hall of Presidents
The Hall of Presidents closed in January for refurbishment, but will reopen soon with President Joe Biden taking his place on stage as the newest animatronic in the show. Disney revealed a sneak peek of the newly-revamped attraction.
Disney has not yet revealed an official reopening date for the attraction, but the company expects to have it open again sometime in August.

More Entertainment Returning to Disney World
More entertainment will soon return to Disney World. Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will return to Theater of the Stars on August 15th. Hollywood Studios will also see the return of the Wonderful World of Animation nighttime show is returning on August 1st.
Both Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Magic Kingdom and Turtle Talk With Crush in EPCOT are also returning in August! Oh, and we also know that Happily Ever After fireworks will have its last performance on September 30th before it becomes the NEW Enchantment fireworks show for the 50th anniversary celebration!

EPCOT Monorail Has Reopened
The EPCOT Monorail station closed in March 2020 and we’ve been eagerly awaiting its return. It finally reopened this week! And the monorail is now up and running again!
Just before the monorail reopened, the station also got a brand new sign.

Disney Cruise Line To Resume Sailing Soon
It’s been over a year since Disney Cruise Line has sailed, but we finally know when sailings will resume! The Disney Dream cruise ship will set sail on August 9th with 3 and 4-night cruises available from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas.
Disney has not yet released details about sailings on other ships, though, but we’ll keep an eye out for more information!
