Halloween is the time of year that the Haunted Mansion and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror get their moment in the spotlight.
Merchandise inspired by the rides are available all year, but Disney really kicks it into gear during the spooky season! We headed into Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see if anything new dropped into Tower Hotel Gifts.
Tonight’s story on The Twilight Zone merchandise is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. This isn’t an ordinary coffee cup…
…It’s a color-changing coffee cup! Tower of Terror elements like the elevator numbers and hotel bell mysteriously appear with warm water.
The illusion replicates the eerie night that lightning hit the Hollywood Tower Hotel and caused parts of the hotel to disappear into the Twilight Zone.
And the inside of the cup is inspired by the spirals that suck hotel guests and ride passengers into the vortex!
