And it looks like work has begun on the now-closed Primeval Whirl, where a notable part of the ride is now missing.
While taking a trip through DinoLand U.S.A., we stopped by Primeval Whirl and noticed that the ride vehicles had been removed.

The shell of the former attraction doesn’t otherwise look very different than it did before the closures. The ride already experienced frequent and prolonged downtime prior to the announcement of its closure.

We will keep checking in on Primeval Whirl as more work is done to remove the attraction. Keep your eyes peeled for more photos in the coming weeks and months!

Sad to see this one go. Never heard anyone say they didn’t like it. It was one of the fun attractions in Animal Kingdom.
Over all the years, we only rode it twice. But, I can say I enjoyed it. My daughter on the other hand, liked PW, just not a fan of the jostling around. I just laughed, through the ride.
I know I am in the minority here, but I LOVED Primeval Whirl! So sad to see it go.
I will miss hearing “Watch Out For Hitchhikin’ Dinosaurs!” This was a great ride. I never heard anybody complain they didn’t like it. Why did it have to go? (Other WDW rides break down just as much.)
