NEWS: Another Disney Springs Store Just Permanently CLOSED

Well, it’s happened — another spot in Disney Springs has officially closed its doors.

In this case, however, it’s not only this company’s Disney Springs store that has closed — it’s ALL of the company’s stores around the United States. Back on March 29th, Francesca’s closed all of its stores, and we just hopped into Disney Springs to see how things are looking now.

Francesca’s was located in Town Center in Disney Springs, near Guest Relations, and had been in business in the shopping and dining district since May 2016. It was part of the large expansion of additional shops that arrived in 2016, so we’re sad to see it go.

Now, the shop is fully closed, but instead of the doors being closed, they’re wide open, with construction workers completely gutting it. When we visited the store the day before the closure on March 28th, the store was practically empty, so we’ve got a feeling there wasn’t much to move out, other than the final bits and bobs. At this time, it’s unclear what may be coming to this area, as Disney hasn’t announced anything, but we’re hoping it’ll be another similar shop.

Francesca’s was a women’s clothing and accessories boutique that sold lots of apparel, mugs, candles, hats, accessories, and more. While there are plenty of other similar spots in Disney Springs, the store was in business for 25 years and closed due to long-lasting financial issues. It was still unique in its style and what was offered.
