Have a Golden New Year’s Eve at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter

Walt Disney World is prepping New Year’s celebrations across the parks, with extended park hours and exclusive fireworks shows. However, if you prefer to toast the new year with a glass of champagne… well, you’ll need to settle for cider, but otherwise Port Orleans French Quarter has you covered!

Hey, if you partied in the Magic Kingdom you’d need to settle for Sprite. I’m not complaining.

This little slice of New Orleans is celebrating 2020 with three exclusive events, including giveaways, character meets, and more.

The first celebration is the Glittering Gold Campfire from 5:30 to 7:30PM. Located between buildings 5 and 6, you can think of this as the toast before the toast. Gather with new friends as you roast some complementary marshmallows and reflect upon a year gone by. Perfect for kids, adults, and anyone who likes marshmallows (or fire).

Bring your best campfire songs to this one.

Next, members of your party can Decorate Their Own Toast Glass in the lobby from 8PM to 9PM. For a fee, you’ll be provided with your very own glass, decorating materials, and a complimentary glass of sparkling cider when the clock strikes midnight.

Finally, you can gather in the lobby for All That Glitters: A New Year’s Eve Celebration from 9PM to Midnight, where you can enjoy a live DJ, dancing, a character meet and greet, games, giveaways, and more! Guests can also make their own festive souvenir for a small fee!

This family-friendly event is perfect for people who don’t want to brave New Year’s crowds in the parks or who like to have a slice of Mardi Gras as part of their holiday celebrations. You can enjoy all of these celebrations at Port Orleans French Quarter on December 31!
