Ready to start planning your 2026 vacation to Disney World? Here are some dates you might want to AVOID!

There are plenty of things to consider when planning a trip to Disney World. But before you can start making those dining reservations, hotel bookings, special event plans, etc, the first decision you have to make is WHEN you’re going to go. And we’ve got a heads-up on some dates you might want to avoid Disney World in 2026!
There are pros and cons to visiting Disney World at pretty much any time of year, and your best time to visit can vary based on your family’s priorities. For many people, two major factors they consider are price and expected crowd levels.

If that sounds like you, there are 28 specific dates you might want to AVOID Disney World in 2026! Before we get to those dates, let’s first talk about why they’re pinging on our radar.Â

Disney World uses dynamic pricing for its theme park tickets, which means ticket prices vary by day and park. In other words, the days that Disney expects will be the most in-demand (and most crowded) are also the most expensive. On the flip side, the least expensive days are ones Disney forecasts will be less popular, meaning the parks are likely to be less crowded.

That means, if you’re looking to save some money and dodge some of the (likely) highest crowd levels, steering clear of the days with the most expensive Disney World tickets is a good place to start! As of now, vacations can be booked through October 31st, 2026, so we know which dates are the most expensive up to that point.

Currently, the most expensive tickets in 2026 are priced at $179 for the cheapest park (Disney’s Animal Kingdom) and $199 for the priciest park (Magic Kingdom). The most expensive dates are mainly concentrated around holidays like Presidents’ Day (February 16th), Easter (April 5th), Columbus Day (October 12th), and Halloween (October 31st), and the spring break season in mid-late April.

Here’s a full list of all 28 days in 2026 on which tickets are at their most expensive price:
- February 13th-February 21st
- February 28th
- March 29th-April 6th
