Over 40 NEW snacks just debuted in Disneyland, and that means we’re going in and trying them ALL!

We’ve got sweet treats, savory items, and everything in between, so get ready to make a list if you’ve got a trip coming up. Some of these snacks you 100% won’t want to miss, but others we don’t want you feeling like you wasted money on them!
Disneyland
Starting over at Edelweiss, we’ve got the Matterhorn Puff, which is filled with Cheesecake, Lemon Curd, and Fresh Blueberries, topped with White Chocolate and Snow Sugar for $6.79.

We loved this treat! The cheesecake and lemon curd are a refreshing flavor together, and since it is served cold, that first bite really is very refreshing on a warm day. There aren’t as many blueberries as we had hoped, but it doesn’t take away from how good this is. The white chocolate on the puff pastry adds a rich sweetness to the tart filling, balancing it well. It gets a 5/5 from us!

Next up was the Matcha Float at Tropical Hideaway, which is Dole Whip Strawberry and Mango Swirl with Matcha as the base and topped with white chocolate drizzle and toasted coconut for $9.29.

We weren’t sure about this one. The flavors are good, just weird when it’s stirred up altogether. We liked the aftertaste more than the actual taste when we sipped it. It was meh, and while it was refreshing (as Dole Whip always is), we don’t think we’d order it again.

Beignet lovers can also snack on the new Pineapple Mickey Beignets at Mint Julep Bar for $6.49. We were surprised by how good these are! However, they are VERY tart, so you’ll want to prepare yourself for that. The pineapple flavor all comes from the pineapple powdered sugar, so there’s no filling at all, but it is STRONG! If you enjoy pineapple, we really think you should give these a try!

Over at Tiana’s Palace, you can grab the new Beignet-Flavored Cold Brew for $6.29.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get beignet-flavoring from this at all. The taste is very familiar and on the sweeter side, closer to OREO if anything. The cream topping was tasty, and while this will make most coffee drinkers happy, there’s nothing distinctly beignet flavored here.

Finally, over at Red Rose Taverne, you’ll find the new S’mores Butter Cake Sundae for $8.49. This is Chocolate butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, graham cracker crumbs, and toasted marshmallow, and wow, were we looking forward to it!

This was very tasty, and you definitely got a s’mores flavor! There’s a lot of chocolate happening here, and it does overpower at times. The marshmallows are actually toasted, so it’s safe to say you won’t be disappointed in that flavor, as it really adds that nice smokiness. However, we would have liked a little more graham cracker flavor, and if you despise chocolate, you should stay far away!

At Maurice’s Treats, we had the Cookie Croissant for $5.29. This is a flat croissant coated in sugar.

It reminded us a lot of sweet baklava, and while it was flaky, it was really hard and difficult to bite into. The caramel and butter smelled and tasted a bit burnt. If we ordered this again, we would try dipping it in hot coffee or cocoa to bring more sweetness and a softer texture.

We tried the Coconut Cheesecake at Jolly Holiday for $7.29. This is a coconut cheesecake rolled in toasted coconut with coconut whipped cream, white chocolate pearls, and a Mickey decoration.

Yum! We absolutely loved this! You need to be a big coconut fan to enjoy this, but the cheesecake was light and airy, and the coconut whipped cream made it even better. The toasted coconut on the outside gave a subtle toasty flavor with a fantastic texture to pair with the soft cheesecake. The crust is soft and moist, and at the right level of sweetness. We’ll be ordering this again!

But that’s not all!
Disney California Adventure
Over at Cozy Cone 1, you can find the new Banana Cone-Nanza Churro for $6.99. This is a Classic churro topped with banana cream and crust dust.

We weren’t a fan of this. The banana cream is like a whipped cream consistency and honestly has a fake aftertaste that isn’t very banana tasting. While the churro is perfection, the whipped cream is a no-go for us. It would have been better if it were like a custard on top, or even in a dipping cup, but the way it is now? No, thank you.

The Strawberries & Cream Cold Brew is also available at Aunt Cass Cafe for $7.29. This is Vanilla Cream Cold Brew topped with Strawberry Cold Foam.

We loved this one! It’s super sweet and has more of a chocolate-covered strawberry taste to it, plus it’s also on the thicker side in terms of consistency — almost like a melted milkshake. The Strawberry foam on top is tart and offers a great addition to the vanilla cold brew. We preferred the flavors together rather than separate, so definitely be sure to stir it up!

While at Aunt Cass, we had to try the Peaches and Cream Bread Pudding for $7.99. The bread pudding is made with a peach pie topping, whipped topping, crème anglaise, and streusel.

The bread pudding is moist without being soggy and has a strong cinnamon taste. The peach flavor was subtle and had a bit of salt included to cut through the sweetness. We thought the anglaise was very milky and overpowered the bread pudding, which made it soggy in the end.

We headed to Shawarma Palace to try the Denver Breakfast Shawarma for $14.49. It’s made with scrambeled eggs, potatoes, ham, cheddar cheese, and bell peppers and a side of spicy ketchup.

Boom! This wrap is packed with flavor! It reminded us of a breakfast burrito, but instead of a tortilla, it had a soft and fluffy pita. There were tons of fillings all flavored nicely, and we loved the tartness and spice brought by the ketchup. It’s a great size to share and a perfect breakfast on the go.

We knew we had to stop at Award Weiners to try the Street Corn Dog for $11.79. It’s an all-beef hot dog with esquites-inspired topping, served with Mandarin oranges or filmstrip fries.

The corn topping was perfectly grilled with a great crunch, and we wish we had a full bowl of this with the tart mayo drizzle on top. Seriously, we could eat this corn every day. The actual hot dog had a great snap to it and was a Texas toast-style bun. The bun was a little too hard for the hot dog, and we wish there was more pico de Gallo on top, but it was a solid snack that we might try to recreate at home.

We headed to Studio Catering Co. to try the Western-Style Loaded Potato for $8.49. This is a creamy baked potato topped with garlic butter, charro-style beans, shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, and sliced jalapenos.

Now this is a LOADED potato. There are so many toppings with a lot of different flavors going on. The beans were more of a soupy chili with a smoky taste and a bit of spice. We definitely needed that sour cream on top to cut down the heat! The biggest part we didn’t enjoy was how much oil there was from the beans. It ended up making our potato a bit soggy, which we didn’t love.

Over at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream, we tried the Neapolitan Macaron which is a chocolate macaron with vanilla buttercream and strawberry sauce for $8.29.

Disneyland macarons are one of our favorite treats, so we weren’t passing up this! The chocolate macaron pairs nicely with the not very sweet vanilla buttercream, and once you get that bite of sweet strawberry sauce, you’re in for a delicious bite. The macaron is super rich, but in the best way! Oh, and did we mention it’s super cute?

At various outdoor vending locations around the park, you can grab the Pull-apart Pizza Bread for $10.75. We snagged ours at the location near Paradise Gardens — this is filled with seasoned ricotta and topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni slices.

This is packed with carbs, which makes it deceptively filling. The mozzarella is baked in more than we thought, which helps maintain a lighter, gooier texture. It was so, so very tasty and soft, and it was served hot, making it great for when you’re on the go. The Hawaiian roll didn’t let us down, as it never does, and we totally see why this is advertised as shareable if you’re not super hungry. We totally recommend!

There will be TONS of other snacks coming to the resort that we’ll be trying, so stay tuned to AllEars!
