Eat To The Beat Concerts – Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Photos

Here are some pictures I took of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in concert Sunday evening. For those of you who don’t know Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, they are a contemporary swing band. Some of their hit songs are: Go Daddy-O, Mr. Pinstripe Suit and You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby).

My wife and I stayed for the first two concerts. The band did changed up a number of the songs from set to set. I have to tell you that I’m always happy when I see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on the Eat to the Beat concert series lineup. I really love this group. They are fantastic musicians playing really great music. And the audience agreed with me. Their music makes you want to get up and dance, which is what a number of couples tried to do. But unfortunately there isn’t any room for dancing in the American Garden Theater.

Well, that was the last of the Eat to the Beat concerts and the end of the Food & Wine Festival. I enjoyed the concerts that I was able to attend and I’m already looking forward to the Flower Power concert series.

NOTE: For a number of reasons I am not able to blog on all of the Eat To The Beat concerts this year. However, I had hoped that I could post a couple of videos for you to enjoy of the performers whose concerts that I was able to attend. I was able to do that for both the Taylor Dayne and Kool & The Gang concerts. Unfortunately, it’s looking more and more like Disney has banned videotaping at Epcot concerts. An announcement to that effect is being made before each performance. Although many in the audience ignored that request I didn’t. If they say no videotaping then I respect that request and will only take pictures.

  1. Love BBVD! You got some fun photos. I was so excited this year that they closed the festival instead of opening as they have done in years past. They were fantastic! We didn’t get in this trip until the end of the F&W Festival, but the fantastic weather more than made up for that:-)
