A NEW Dance Party Is Now Available at Disney World!

It’s shaping up to be a “Cool Kid Summer” at Disney World! There is a lot to look forward to at Disney World this summer, and “Cool Kid Summer” has officially begun!

This summertime event brings new entertainment and new opportunities to meet characters at all the Disney World parks. We are checking out all the new offerings and celebrating the start of “Cool Kid Summer”.

“Cool Kid Summer” runs from May 27th through September 1st, and it features special entertainment and roaming characters. At Magic Kingdom, there will be DJ-led dance parties, performers in Storybook Circus, and a Stitch dance party in Tomorrowland. You can check out GoofyCore over in EPCOT. In Animal Kingdom, there will be crafting activities, a limited-time Wilderness Explorer Badge, and an interactive sing-along with a Dino Institute Intern.

There is also lots to explore in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. TWO new shows are opening, “The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure” and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After.” Plus, you can also find some exclusive entertainment in Animation Courtyard. Let’s check out the new entertainment offerings!

First up, you can head over to Get Animated. You will find this entertainment offering in the theater in Animation Courtyard. It features Mickey Mouse, Disney Junior friends, and more in an indoor dance party. This is the same location that housed “Disney Jr. Play and Dance!” prior.

You can dance to the beat while enjoying some air conditioning. The best of both worlds! We spotted Mickey, Timon, Pluto, Fancy Nancy, and Vampirina while we were movin’ and groovin’, but you never know who might make an appearance. There were also some hula hoops you can use to get some energy out!

Additionally, you will also find even more special entertainment in Animation Courtyard. You could spot a magician or some jump rope performers. We got a chance to see the Jumpin’ Beans in action, and they were full of energy and jump rope ability.  You can spot them outside in Animation Courtyard. After they do their routine, they even help the kiddos learn how to jump rope!
