There is nothing worse on your Universal vacation than finding out the ride you’ve been looking forward to is closed while you’re visiting.

This is why we always make sure to keep you informed of any ride closures so you can best plan for your trip and be prepared for what will be unavailable before your trip. So let’s get into all of the rides that will be closed this June at Universal.
Several closures are happening over June, starting at Islands of Adventure. The following experiences will be closed.

- Jurassic Park River Adventure, which closed for an extended refurbishment on January 5th, 2026, will not reopen until November 19th, 2026.

- Pteranodon Flyers, which has been closed since February 27th, 2026, and is scheduled to reopen on July 2nd, 2026.

- Last up is the Me Ship, The Olive. This is the walkthrough experience of Popeye’s ship that is under a short refurbishment as of May 26th, 2026; however, it will reopen soon on June 9th, 2026.

Then the following attractions will be closed during June at Universal Studios.

- Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show, which recently closed on May 12th, 2026, for an update, will reopen sometime in late 2026; however, a specific date has not been announced.

- Men In Black Alien Attack will be briefly closed in June from the 1st to the 26th.

- Both Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp and the Po Live! show closed on May 18th, 2026, and will remain closed until July 3rd, 2026.

There are no closures scheduled for June at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay; however, we always update if any closures come up. So stay tuned to AllEars so you never miss any closure announcements or Universal news!
