The One Date You MUST Know for Disney World’s After Hours Events

If you want to see the Disney World theme parks like you’ve never seen them before, you should check out the after hours events.

These separately ticketed events allow you to stay late in the parks, hop on attractions with lower wait times, enjoy special treats and snacks, and often meet rare characters! Disney just released information about the after hours events coming up this summer at EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Typhoon Lagoon, including the DATE you need to know if you want to book tickets to these exclusive events.

After hours events have been added for EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer, and H2O Glow Nights are returning to Typhoon Lagoon this summer as well.

The new 2023 dates begin on May 20th for H2O Glow Nights, June 1st for EPCOT after hours events, and May 3rd for Hollywood Studios after hours events. For all of these events, you can purchase your tickets starting on March 3rd, 2023. However, if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel (including all Disney-owned hotels, the Shades of Green resort, and the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve hotels), you can purchase tickets starting on February 28th.

Tickets for these events range in price from $75 to $149 per person, although Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders will get a discount. Remember that the events are separately ticketed. You cannot attend the after hours event with just a normal daytime park ticket, and you cannot go into the parks earlier during the day with after hours event tickets.

H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon

H2O Glow Nights for 2023 begin on May 20th and take place on select nights through September 2nd. Each event is from 8PM to 11PM, but ticket holders can enter the park at 6PM.

Here’s the list of this year’s H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon:

• May 20th and 27th
• June 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th
• July 1st, 3rd, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, and 31st
• August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th
• September 2nd

Tickets cost $75 for adults and $70 for children (ages 3 to 9), and DVC Members and Annual Passholders can get tickets at a discount of $59 for adults and $54 for children.

Tickets go on sale March 3rd, and guests at Disney hotels can buy them starting February 28th.

After Hours Event at EPCOT

The after hours events in EPCOT are from 10PM to 1AM, but a ticket gets you into the park beginning at 7PM.

Events take place on select nights from June 1st through August 24th. Prices range from $129 to $139 per person, depending on the date, but DVC Members and Annual Passholders can buy tickets at a discount at $99. You can see a full list of the event dates and prices below.

Tickets go on sale March 3rd, and guests at Disney hotels can buy them starting February 28th.

After Hours Event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

After hours events at Hollywood Studios are from 9:30PM to 12:30AM for events in February, March, and April. They are from 10PM to 1AM for events in May and June. Anyone with an event ticket can enter the park starting at 7PM.

New dates have been added for this event, starting on May 3rd and running on select nights through June 28th. Tickets range in price from $139 to $149 per person, depending on the date, and DVC Members and Annual Passholders can get tickets at a discount of $109 to $119.

Tickets are on sale now for events through April 19, and tickets for May and June events go on sale March 3rd, and guests at Disney hotels can buy them starting February 28th.
