We’ve pulled together a list of the best places to eat in Universal according to our readers!

10. Flaming Moe’s

Score: 9/10

Flaming Moe’s

Our readers say:

“The Flaming Moe is a staple of the park … a non-alcoholic beverage served in Moe’s Tavern in the Springfield area of the park. It’s a pretty simple drink, really just orange juice with some dry ice to make the “flaming” effect. … Delicious.”

9. Florean Fortescue’s Ice-cream Parlour

Score: 9/10

Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour

Our readers say:

“the butterbeer ice cream was so refreshing on a hot day … Simple vanilla flavor with a hint of caramel”

“Short to no line at all!”

“I had the earl gray and the peanut butter; both were very good. Waited about 10 minutes in the morning.”

“Unique delicious flavors”

8. Hog’s Head

Score: 9/10

Butterbeer at Hog’s Head

Our readers say:

“It was fun to see the hog’s head come to life and we preferred the vibe this side to the Three Broomsticks connecting to it.”

“Great food and takes you right into the Harry Potter movies!”

“Not a big menu”

7. Leaky Cauldron

Score: 9/10

Leaky Cauldron

Our readers say:

” The atmosphere is incredible and really transports you to the movies.”

“Our favorite restaurant of the whole trip! My friend loved the fish and chips, and they had a very tasty gluten free chicken sandwich available for me.”

“the candles are a wonderful touch and it feels like you’re really in the movies.”

6. Croissant Moon Bakery

Score: 9/10

Croissant Moon Bakery

Our readers say:

“Great little place to grab something outside of typical park fare. It’s not a big restaurant, but the sandwiches are good and the sweet treats are awesome! My son and I split a sandwich and a sweet. Both of us were satisfied without that heavy feeling.”

5. Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

Score: 9/10

Margaritaville Cocktails

Our readers say:

“I am from the Bahamas living in the states and this is a must-do every time I go! The conch fritters are so close to home, the fried grouper sandwich is amazing, and so huge its shareable. Love their coconut shrimp (top 3 of any coconut shrimp for me) and the drinks and atmosphere is fun and lively, (volcano is fun!) perfect for kids and grown ups alike. I have no comparison to other Margaritaville’s, but this is just a great place to eat that is the kind of food we want to eat when we visit Florida.”

4. Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food

Score: 9.5/10

Antojitos

Our readers say:

“We didn’t have a reservation for one day of our trip and were trying to find one last minute. This reservation was easy to get and we really enjoyed it. The food was great and there is plenty of seating inside. The service was also very good.”

“We went to Antojitos on our last trip to Universal. Their Mexican food was fresh and their drinks were to die for. I liked their outdoor patio where we could sit under cover and watch the people walking by. Also it’s a good use of a table service credit on the dining plan. Try the queso!!!”

3. Mythos Restaurant

Score: 9.67/10

Spanakopita and Dip

Our readers say:

“Ate here for my wedding anniversary. Food and drinks were amazing. It is BETTER than the Disney signature restaurants. Yes I said that. Le Cellier is great, but Mythos is a different level”

“I know some people believe this is an over hyped restaurant, but personally my family really enjoys our time here. The roasted chicken is our favorite dish and the fork and spoon tomato soup is delicious”

2. Finnegan’s Bar & Grill

Score: 10/10

Our readers say:

“We loved Finnegan’s Pub on our last trip. The food was hot fresh and delicious and we had the best waitress! Highly recommend the Onion and Potato Web as an appetizer we polished it off so fast and are eagerly awaiting our next trip to get it again. Also best fish and chips and loved the Bangers and Mash. Def a must do in the parks!”

1. Bigfire

Score: 10/10

NY Sirloin

Our readers say:

“My family and I had heard mixed reviews of Bigfire this have avoided it our past few trips to Universal. I am beyond glad we tried it out this visit as it was our favorite meal of the trip. My husband ordered he ribeye which was cooked a perfect medium rare, juicy and flavorful. I love ordering mussels at restaurants and these were some of the best i have every had. Service was great very attentive with helpful suggestions.”
