To be very honest we were really disappointed. We put down on the reservations that we were here for a birthday celebration. There was no acknowledgment of that. I had the crab cakes which was a special for Mardi Gras. The crab cakes were pretty small and barely had any crab. For the price we paid, you should see lumps of crab meat. The crab cakes came with spicy mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was spicy but the cheese lacked any flavor so basically it was just spicy noodles. My brother had the filet. The filet was cooked perfectly but it had absolutely no flavor. No seasonings or anything that made it special. My kids shared the special which was just basically pure fat and no meat. It's a beautiful restaurant but with a nearly $200 bill, I expected a lot more. We also were seated upstairs which is very isolated. If I had known, I would have asked for a table downstairs.
Pros:
Beautiful restaurant. We had a very nice waitress.Cons:
Food was over priced for what we got. Food lacked flavor and meat was a total disappointments.Reviewed by TattooedtravelOT Review Date: 05/22/2022

My family and I had heard mixed reviews of Bigfire this have avoided it our past few trips to Universal. I am beyond glad we tried it out this visit as it was our favorite meal of the trip. My husband ordered he ribeye which was cooked a perfect medium rare, juicy and flavorful. I love ordering mussels at restaurants and these were some of the best i have every had. Service was great very attentive with helpful suggestions. Our favorite cocktail of the night was the smoked old fashioned prepared table side. We had a very early evening reservation, I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing my two year old back in the evening as I feel it has a nicer vibe to it.
