Pin trading at Disney can be a fun way to spend the day, meet other Disney fanatics, and end up with some cool collectibles!

Sometimes, the best pins can be found where you least expect them. Cast Members are always finding ways to make pin trading even more fun. You’ll sometimes see them holding smaller pin boards, wearing pins on their costume, and sometimes they even keep them hidden — waiting for the perfect magical moment to present a lucky guest with a beloved pin.
The pin board we saw recently in EPCOT, though, happens to be the most unique one we’ve seen. Meet Pinelope, a pin board disguised as a trash can! We’ve seen pin trading trash cans before, but Pinelope is extra special.

The Cast Members occupying Pinelope were so fun and made the pin trading experience extra magical. See those sticky notes on top? Those covered secret pins that you could see and potentially trade for if you correctly answered a trivia question!

Our trivia question was to name two park opening years, and so we answered 1971 for Magic Kingdom and 1982 for EPCOT. We didn’t get photos, but the pins we were able to see were Ursula’s double chin (yes, you read that correctly) and a cute Winnie the Pooh one!

Shout out to these cast members (and Pinelope, of course) for being so fun and making our day a little extra magical! We spotted Pinelope in EPCOT, Make sure to follow along for more Disney news, reviews, and updates — and click the link below for some pin displays we’ve seen recently.
