NEWS: The Magic Kingdom Barber Shop Will Reopen Soon!

Disney World has been going through its phased reopening, meaning that not all offerings and experiences have become available at once. We’ve slowly seen some of these experiences return over the past couple of years with the return of park hopping, stage shows, and the reopening of all of the Disney hotels.

One thing that lots of guests have been awaiting the opening of is the Harmony Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom! It has not reopened since the park closures, but we now have some more information on when we’ll be able to get our hair cut in the Magic Kingdom again!

Disney has announced that the Harmony Barber Shop will open its doors once again on July 31st!

There will be a limited number of reservations available, which can be booked in the My Disney Experience app beginning June 28th. Walk-in appointments will also be accepted, based on availability.

At the Harmony Barber Shop, guests can typically get a child haircut, adult haircut, or the favorite “My First Haircut.” In this special experience, you can bring your toddler to get their first haircut. This experience usually includes the haircut, commemorative Mickey ears, a keepsake lock of hair, and a milestone certificate.
