Premier Passholders Need to Call Disney NOW. Here's Why.

It has been a wild year for Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort!

The parks were closed, which meant refunds and updated renewal dates, and lots of phone calls made to Disney. Then, Disneyland Resort announced that they’d be discontinuing their current AP program, and passholders have been waiting on answers ever since. But, if you hold a Premier Passport (meaning one that works on both coasts) then you have an even more complicated situation!

When Disneyland Resort announced that they were canceling the Annual Passholder program, they shared that Premier Passholders would be able to use their passes for entry into Walt Disney World parks until March 31st, 2021. Even though that date has passed, Premier Passholders still have until April 30th, 2021 to renew their passes into the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder program.

That April 30th deadline is fast approaching and if you haven’t already taken care of your Premier Pass, you’ll need to call Disney to do so. When you “renew” the pass, you’ll essentially be changing it to a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, so you won’t get Disneyland Resort perks and admission anymore.

Remember that Disney World is not currently selling new Annual Passes at this time except for certain situations; this counts as a “renewal” instead of purchasing a new pass.
