The Fantasmic Change You Should Know Before Visiting Disney World in April

It may be a controversial take, but if I had to recommend just one nighttime show in Disney World, I’d tell you to watch Fantasmic!

The nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been around for decades, and it has pretty much everything you could want out of an entertainment offering. it has incredible music, characters, stunt performers, pyrotechnics, and a lot of Disney magic! But coming soon, its showtimes are changing.

Starting on April 24th, Fantasmic showtimes move from 8:30PM to 9PM. This is pretty typical as it starts to get dark later in the warmer months.

If you want to see the show, we recommend lining up about 30 minutes before the showtime on Sunset Boulevard. There’s a decent walk back to the amphitheater, and though there’s a lot of seating, it can fill up quickly. The show has hit capacity many times in the past.

You can also reserve a seat for the show in advance by booking the Fantasmic Dining Package. This dining package gives you dinner at a restaurant as well as a guaranteed seat in the reserved section — they’re the best seats in the middle of the theater!

The show is about 30 minutes in length, and you get to sit down the entire time, so it’s more accessible for the whole family. There’s a reason why it’s so beloved!
