If you didn’t know, you can race through Disney World with runDisney! runDisney lets guests come into the parks before they open and run different race distances while meeting characters — including some super rare ones. Each runDisney weekend has a theme, and we’re spilling all the details for Marathon Weekend.

There are four in-person race weekends at Disney World each year, and for the 2026 to 2027 season, it includes:

    • Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend — October 22nd to 25th, 2026
    • Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend — January 6th to 10th, 2027
    • Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend — February 25th to March 1st, 2027
    • runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend — April 15th to 18th, 2027
Our very own Fry Bucket during a runDisney event!

There’s only one marathon weekend, so if you’re looking to push yourself to the next level and complete those 26.2 miles, this is the weekend you want to sign up for. While Marathon Weekend usually has the same themes, which include Mickey and Friends, it usually has some sort of flair, and this time, Donald Duck is making an appearance at all of them (he’s #1 after all).
