Just ahead of Epic Universe’s first full year being open, Universal’s already looking ahead at ways to improve your next visit’s experiences. While we’ve already seen evidence of future projects beginning to take shape for the long-term expansion plans, there’s another subtle detail that was recently updated that could make an impactful difference on your next visit!

Visitors heading to Epic Universe soon might notice a big change to the lineup of rides and attractions offered for early birds ready to catch the worm! Universal recently updated its Early Park Admission details online, and while this perk has always been a major draw for on-site Universal hotel guests and select annual passholders, it now includes expanded worlds and attractions you might not have expected.

Epic Universe

Traditionally, Early Park Admission lets eligible visitors enter Epic Universe up to an hour before the general public, allowing you to enjoy these select areas of the park with shorter wait times. Previously, only portions of the park (mainly Super Nintendo World, Celestial Park, and Dark Universe) were open during this early entry period. Attractions like Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure, Stardust Racers, Constellation Carousel, Monsters Unchained, and Curse of the Werewolf were consistently listed as part of the early lineup.

You’ll ride a magical lift to the trial.

The recent update Universal just announced lets you into different attractions during Early Park Admission available from February 1st through at least February 28th. This means your stay at one of the Universal Orlando on-site hotels could give you an even bigger head start on some of Epic Universe’s most popular attractions.

This doesn’t necessarily mean every ride in Epic Universe is guaranteed to be available each morning, though. Early Park Admission always varies by operational and seasonal considerations, and the change on Universal’s announcement doesn’t specify attractions and experiences being added during this expanded early entry period, but having official dates and a broader set of included worlds is a win for early risers. It gives planners the ability to build their mornings around a more predictable early entry strategy, especially during peak travel periods.

Celestial Park during Early Entry

To make the most of Early Park Admission, it’s still a good idea to arrive early, know which rides you want to hit first, and check the Universal app for up-to-date attraction availability. Since the perk is tied to hotel stays or certain ticket types, make sure you have the right admission before your visit.

Wait times can be wild!

With these Early Park Admission changes now official through February, Epic Universe continues to reward those who take advantage of this perk, letting you see more, ride more, and beat the crowds before the park officially opens each day.

We’ll be keeping a close watch over these changes and all things Universal! In the meantime, be sure to check out our best tips, tricks, and strategies that could save you precious park time in advance of your trip, right here at AllEars!
