The day has finally come…we get to try all the NEW treats at Disney World’s newest snack stand, AstroFizz, at Magic Kingdom!

Disney World hit us with a surprise, as AstroFizz just opened today, November 1st! Do you remember Cool Ship? It was the popular snack kiosk in Tomorrowland, which closed in May of 2025. The closure made way for a new version of the snack stand, which is now called AstroFizz, and it’s got a fresh new look! Ever since Disney teased the menus, we’ve been DYING to try the new stuff. Well, now we have, and we’re sharing our thoughts with you!
Let us just start by saying that we absolutely love the new remodel, with its modern style while still maintaining a retro ’50s look and feel. It’s vintage, nostalgic, and futuristic at the same time. Just how Tomorrowland is supposed to be, right?!

AstroFizz is introducing new items, as well as some classic Disney World treats. Menu items include:
- Popcorn — $5.99
- Cinnamon-glazed Nuts — $5.99
- Cotton Candy — $5.49
- Assorted Fountain Beverages — $4.79
- Frozen Slushy: Coca-Cola, Fanta Blue Raspberry, or Fanta Orange — $6.49
- Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar — $6.49
- Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich — $6.49
- Frozen Lemonade Cup –$6.29
- Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bar — $5.99
- Cherry Cola Churros — $7.49

Let’s start by talking about the slushies, which we were very excited to get! You can get a Slushy for $6.49, and they offer the options of blue raspberry, cherry, Coca-Cola, and orange. This is actually the only spot in all of Disney World that offers Orange Fanta slushies.

The slushies were tasty, and they’re very refreshing on a hot day. They’re pretty standard to what you can get at all the parks at Disney World, outside of the orange flavor. If you’ve had a slushy at Disney before, this is the same thing, but we’re always down for another spot that sells them!

Now let’s talk about what we REALLY wanted to get at AstroFizz, and that’s the Cherry Cola Churros for $7.49! This is a standard churro, and it wasn’t filled down the center like we had imagined or thought it would be. It is drizzled with a sauce that is spiced like cola and reminds us of those nostalgic cola candies.

We recommend having all the flavors together because the balance between the cola drizzle, the cherry sugar, and the popping candy results in a very cherry-forward, tart flavor overall. Interestingly enough, we actually don’t get a ton of cola flavor unless everything is combined.

We think this treat is super inventive, and we are obsessed with the fact that you can experience the individual flavors of Cherry Coke by sampling around the plate. Overall, it does not overwhelm us with the flavors it is said to be inspired by. It gives a delicious base with a flavor slightly more complex than vanilla and a tart cherry finish once everything is consumed together.

We’re loving the fact that there is a “gourmet” option for a churro in Magic Kingdom, and we are major fans of Cherry Coke, so we love the attempt to create something that tastes like it. The elements are all there, and they are all delicious, even if they do not combine on a churro to taste exactly like Cherry Coke. It still tastes like something delicious that we would recommend to just about anyone. (P.S. The Ice Cold Hydraulics stand at Disney’s Hollywood Studios serves some Coca-Cola churros of its own!)

All in all, we look forward to seeing what other unique creations this brand-new location comes up with. For more Disney food reviews, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars!
