2 NEW Disney Visa Cardmember Perks Debut at Hollywood Studios

If you’re a Disney Visa Cardmember, we have some important news for you — you’re perks are changing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Previously, Cardmembers were able to access an exclusive meet-and-greet at the Star Wars Launch Bay, but that area is now closed permanently to make way for The Magic of Disney Animation.

Being a Disney Visa Cardmember comes with a variety of perks, including discounts and special offers for certain things on your Disney vacations. In addition to those perks, cardmembers can also take advantage of photo opportunities — and we all love a good Disney photo. With the previous Star Wars Launch Bay photo-op no longer being available, there are two new photo opportunities in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

We hope you like warm hugs, because the first photo opportunity will be at the Olaf Character Experience. Olaf is located at Celebrity Spotlight in Echo Lake, and Disney Visa Cardholders can receive free photo downloads from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily. Just show your Disney Visa Card at the entry to the meet and greet. This meet and greet is open to everyone, but the perk here is the free photo download!

Just be aware that Cast Members at Celebrity Spotlight are getting trained on the new photo opportunity, so please be patient with them! We asked them about the perk when it debuted on September 25th, and they weren’t aware of it yet.

Don’t worry, Star Wars fans, the force is still strong for Disney Visa Cardmembers. The second photo opportunity is a Star Wars photo opportunity at the entrance of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. There are two entrances to the land, but this is near the entrance next to Toy Story Land. Look for the PhotoPass Cast Member in that area from 9 AM to 5 PM daily to get a complimentary photo that is enhanced with a Holocron Darth Vader projection.

The beloved Animation Courtyard has officially closed as it gets ready to welcome in a newly reimagined version of the area. The new version will bring back more of the “animation” in “Animation Courtyard.” Don’t worry, Ariel fans, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure will remain open during refurbishment.
