Universal Orlando just got more epic!

Epic Universe is  Universal’s third theme park and is home to five different themed lands Celestial Park, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe. This theme park is unlike anything Universal has ever done before, and we are here to answer all your questions about this new park! That is what we are here for! So, is Epic Universe family-friendly?
The short answer, believe it or not, is yes. Epic Universe is a family-friendly park, and it is helping change Universal’s reputation. Universal is known for its thrill rides, and hey, we love them! The problem is, if you are traveling with kiddos on a family vacation, it can be tough to find attractions that they can enjoy, but Epic Universe is a whole different story!

In general, most rides in each of the five lands have a height requirement of 38 to 40 inches; this means younger kids can ride a lot more rides than you would expect!

If your little one does not meet the average height requirement, they can still enjoy the Constellation Carousel and the splash pad. While it might be a bummer that there are not many rides with no height requirements, live entertainment makes up for this gap greatly.

The character meet and greets and interactions at Epic Universe are next-level and great for kids of all ages, especially in Isle of Berk and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. You can meet Toothless and his kids! While the characters in Dark Universe have a good sense of humor and are kind to little ones, sticking to the other portals may be a better idea.Â

Not only are there great character interactions, but the entertainment is next-level and great for the entire family to enjoy.Â

While there are, of course, thrill rides in this park, there are also a few family-friendly coasters like Mine Cart Madness. The thing is, these family-friendly rides are not your boring and little-to-no-detail rides; no, you genuinely do feel like you are immersed in each of these worlds.

We are happy that Universal is opening up its market and theme parks even more to families with younger children. We think it is a step in the right direction.Â
