Planning a trip to Disneyland and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Mendocino Terrace at Disney California Adventure and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
Mendocino Terrace is a lounge located in DCA right around Wine Country Trattoria, Sonoma Terrace, and Magic Key Terrace. They’re all located right next to each other, so if you’re looking for one, you’ll find them all.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
Mendocino Terrace is located in the Performance Corridor at DCA, which many people miss because it’s so tucked away. If that doesn’t sound super familiar, head on over to Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree in Radiator Springs and take a look around, and you’ll see it.

This is an outdoor space, so you may not want to dine here on a hot day. It’s away from the crowds, though, which makes it a great spot to go if you want to relax for a little while.
But enough about that, what are we eating?!
Food & Drinks
We decided to grab the Wine and Cheese Plate pairing for a total of $24. If you order it on its own, the Cheese Plate is $10 and made of a Chef’s selection of Cheese and Fruit, served with Crackers.

Now we can’t tell you exactly what cheese was on here, as the Cast Members we spoke with weren’t totally sure. However, the triangle one was dusted with coffee beans and had a bitter taste that perfectly contrasted with the creaminess of the cheese, while the other cheese had been soaked in Cabernet, giving it light hints of dark cherry and a nuttier taste.

For our wine pairing, we got the Sebastiani Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, which is a house brand here and one of the most popular options. This was smooth with a sweet blackberry taste that paired very well with the Cheese Plate.

Now, the presentation was lacking, but the food and wine really were delicious. Consider us impressed.
Magic or Tragic?
This Disneyland restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You’re looking for a relaxing experience in DCA
- You love wine and cheese pairings
- You want a unique experience in the park that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg
You should skip this Disneyland spot if…
- You’re not a fan of wine or cheese
- You want a sit-down meal
- You have a jam-packed park day and don’t have time to slow down

Overall, we think this is a great spot to go if you love wine and cheese pairings, especially for the cost, but otherwise, it’s not necessarily worth the visit. If you’re a go, go, go kind of person, stopping to take a break here may not be in your best interest.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
