"This Is One of Those Theme Park Moments That You'll Remember Forever." You CANNOT Miss This in How to Train Your Dragon Land at Epic Universe

A few days ago, we got the chance to step into Epic Universe for the very first time, and we’ve yet to stop thinking about it.

We loved every single second of our sneak peek, but there was one moment that really stood out to us. It was one of those moments that you know you’ll remember for the rest of your life, and it happened in How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. We have a feeling a lot of guests will feel the same way we did, so here’s why you need to MAKE SURE you stop by this land!

In addition to the three attractions in this land, you can also stop in to see The Untrainable Dragon stage show, which will take place a few different times throughout the day (you’ll want to check your Universal app to see exactly when so you don’t miss it).

Without spoiling too much, this show essentially follows Hiccup as he finds an “untrainable” dragon and works to train her once he discovers there’s something very special she’s missing.

We really enjoyed the show as a whole and think kids will especially adore it, as well as any fans of the film franchise. But there was one moment that really stuck in our minds and made tears immediately start to fall.

SPOILER ALERT AHEAD! You’ve been warned…

At one point, the theatre fills with fog, and the screens show clouds racing by, so it begins to really feel like you’re high in the sky. Then, completely out of nowhere, Toothless appears above you, flying proudly with Hiccup on his back.

While we had seen the tracks in the ceiling before the show began, so we knew dragons would be flying, the moment was far more impactful and magical than we ever expected it to be. All of a sudden, it was like an iconic part of one of our favorite stories had come to life in front of us for the first time — Toothless was REAL! He was right there, flying above our heads, and it was such a seamless transition; we truly were in awe.

We weren’t able to take photos or videos inside the show, which is why you’ll just have to believe us when we say that you’ve GOT to make this a priority if you have any interest in dragons or this land at all.
