It’s the International Food & Wine Festival in EPCOT, and there’s so much to see and do!
With dozens of food booths around the World Showcase, how do you even know where to begin?! Thankfully, we were there on the opening day and we tasted a LOT of eats and drinks to share with you our favorites. But if you’re a Muppets fan, there’s one spot you simply cannot miss!
This year’s award for best-themed food booth goes to Brew-Wing at the Odyssey Pavilion. Like last year, the booth is themed to the “Muppet Labs” featuring Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker!
The main dining room has multiple screens that play various short videos of the Muppet scientists “inventing” the booth recipes in the lab. Of course, the lab work is riddled with accidents and general shenanigans.
But one of the best parts about the theming of this building was that there was an ACTUAL lab space set up inside the Odyssey Pavilion, complete with props, tables, chalkboard drawings, and more. The decor was seriously impressive!
However, within a couple of days of the start of the festival, the Muppet Labs tables and props were removed completely from the Odyssey. When we asked a Cast Member about it, we were told that it was likely because children were messing with the props, pulling up the items that were fastened down, and breaking things.
Alas, this is one of those “this is why we can’t have nice things” scenarios. Remember that when you’re visiting Disney World, you need to be respectful of the environment and not vandalize any theming elements. Also, it’s probably a good idea to remind any children of that rule before heading to the parks.
We’ll make sure to keep you updated with any more festival news, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest.

Sad that it has to come to this. People intentionally damaging and breaking things ruining them for everyone else. Parents control you children just because you paid for admission doesn’t mean you are entitled. Its amazing how many people have to touch stuff!
