Visiting the Disney World parks at night can be STUNNING, but it can also be chaos!

At nighttime, when the fireworks shows are happening, the parks get crowded with everyone heading for the same places to get a look at the show. And in EPCOT, there are SO many places to choose from to watch the fireworks. How do you know where to stand? Well, we’re here to tell you about a few spots that did NOT offer a great view, and a few spots that did!
Locations to AVOID
Morocco
EPCOT’s current nighttime fireworks show is called Luminous — the Symphony of Us, and for the most part, you can get a pretty good view of it from anywhere in the World Showcase. However, if you try to watch from the Morocco Pavilion, you may find your view blocked by a few islands out in the lagoon.

The islands are partly covered in trees, which can make seeing the centerpieces of the fireworks show pretty difficult. Also, since the Morocco Pavilion has dining and shopping locations on the lagoon side, there aren’t very many places to stand along the railing.
World Celebration/The Front of the Park
The second place where we don’t recommend standing during fireworks is in World Celebration or the front of the park. While the lights and view of Spaceship Earth can be stunning, you’ll likely miss much of the fireworks show.

In many of these areas, you’re too far away from World Showcase Lagoon to see anything happening in the middle of the water, and the music isn’t as loud as you’d want it to be.
The American Adventure
If you’re hoping to watch from the back of the World Showcase, we recommend skipping the American Adventure. Although it may seem like a great vantage point, it can be difficult to watch because much of the waterfront is blocked by the America Gardens Theater.

There’s a little bit of space on either side of the theater, but it still doesn’t offer the best view. We’ve got better options!
Better Options
France/UK/International Gateway
Instead of watching from Morocco, we recommend you head one or two pavilions over and watch from France, the United Kingdom, or from the International Gateway bridge. All these spots offer nicer views, and they’re close to the back exit of EPCOT if you’re staying in the EPCOT resort area.

You’ll have to watch out for some of the buildings blocking your view, but for the most part, this area has been a popular spot for people watching the nighttime shows.
Between Disney Traders and Port of Entry
Perhaps one of the best spots for a straight-on view is the area between Disney Traders and Port of Entry, also known as World Showcase Plaza. Here, you’ll get to be close to the set pieces and the music will be loud.

Sometimes Disney uses this area for private dessert parties, but if viewing is available, this is typically our #1 choice for a watching spot.
Italy Pavilion
Instead of watching from America, we suggest you head next door and catch the show in Italy! There’s a lot of open space on the water side of the pavilion, and you get a pretty straightforward view.

Keep in mind that this can be a popular spot, so you might not want to wait until the last minute to watch from over here. And since you’re in the back of the park, it’ll take you a while to get out of the park afterward.
So the next time you want to watch fireworks in EPCOT, we recommend avoiding the first three spots and choosing one from the second group instead! We’ll keep you updated with more park tips!
