Disney World is basically part theme park, part construction zone these days.

Test Track just closed for refurbishment, Country Bear Jamboree is getting ready to open its doors to its new show, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will finally be opening to the public later this week — and that’s just to name a few of the major construction projects we’ve seen lately! But we’ve got a big question for Disney — WHAT is going on behind these construction walls?
For a WHILE now, we’ve noticed these green mesh construction walls in Toy Story Land by Jessie’s Trading Post, which is located right at the exit of Toy Story Mania.

And by “a while” we mean it’s been over a YEAR of these being here and we have no clue what’s going on back there. Disney hasn’t given us the slightest hint, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have theories of our own!

Toy Story Land isn’t known for having an abundance of seating (quite the opposite), so we’re really hoping this could be a new seating area of some kind! And if that’s not in the cards, maybe a little snack stand to give us another quick-service option in the area?

Woody’s Lunch Box is great, don’t get us wrong, but that’s a small seating area to accommodate a LARGE group of people, so having a second option would be majorly helpful.

We do not think it’ll be another merchandise location or an expansion of Jessie’s Trading Post, per se, but that is something else to keep in mind. That would be a LOT of merchandise in one land, though, so that’s at the bottom of our theories.

Whatever it is going to be, we are a little concerned about WHEN it’ll be complete. Disney World fans have NOT been happy about the reveal of CommuniCore Hall and Plaza after it took about five years to build, as some fans feel disappointed with its look and lack of shade, so we’re a little nervous about Disney’s upcoming projects. And the fact that we don’t know yet what this one even IS doesn’t ease our nerves.
