EPCOT can feel daunting, especially with so many shops and restaurants and World Showcase Pavilions!

The park is home to a wide variety of things to do, but you would be hard-pressed to accomplish them all in one day. So how do you know what to prioritize? Well, today we’re here to tell you about the ONE store we never skip in EPCOT!
If you’re looking for a unique souvenir that you won’t find anywhere else in Disney World, there’s one premier spot that we recommend visiting — the Mitsukoshi Department Store in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion!

Not only can you find things like Nintendo merchandise and uniquely flavored KitKats in here, but you can also pick pearls from oysters, go shopping for kimonos, buy a Katana, or snag gifts for half the people on your Christmas shopping list.

And one of the best things about shopping at Mitsukoshi? They have new and varying merchandise almost every time you visit! While a shelf may be filled with plushes one visit, you’ll come back a week later and find that it’s stocked with tiny figurines of cats dressed up as sushi. (Yes, that’s a REAL piece of merchandise they have sometimes!)

You could visit multiple times in a month and never have the same experience twice. And it would take you YEARS probably to try out all the fun and interesting Japanese snacks that they sell.

Basically, if you enter Mitsukoshi, be prepared to spend at least some money. The store is just criminally fun and severely underrated. That’s why we can’t skip it on a visit to EPCOT!

I wholeheartedly agree! I love to look in the Japan pavilion store. Such fun and unique merchandise. Including Hello Kitty a blast from my youth!
Also love to get fresh Werther’s caramel popcorn or other treats from Germany pavilion.
