We Ranked the Quick Service Restaurants at EPCOT — And It’s the Hardest Thing We’ve Ever Done

When you think about EPCOT and all the food options, the FOMO gets real!

EPCOT

With over 60 dining options from festival booths to table service restaurants, EPCOT can quickly become overwhelming when trying to find out where you’ll eat. But don’t worry! We’ve got your back. We’ve done the heavy lifting for you and ranked the quick service spots. Let’s have a look.

Just for clarity, since we’re ranking Quick Service spots, treat carts, Table Service restaurants, and festival booths have all been excluded. In the ranking of these spots, there wasn’t always consensus, and friends may have been lost along the way, but we got the list done for ya! Let’s dive right in.

15. Refreshment Outpost

All lists have a last place, and sorry Refreshment Outpost, you drew the short straw. You won’t be finding anything particularly special here — a hot dog and some festival items are typical fare.

Refreshment Outpost

It’s a good place to quench your thirst and let those young ones burn off some energy on the instruments. You won’t find much in terms of seating though. Grab them quickly if you need them.

14. Refreshment Port

Are you a fan of poutine? If so, this could be a new staple for you. Just know that the menu doesn’t really contain much when compared to other restaurants on this list. Refreshment Port is more of your go-to snack spot than for that full-blown meal.

Refreshment Port

Try not to miss here during the festivals because you’ll usually find at least an offering or two. Just like with the outpost before, you won’t find much in terms of seating.

13. Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina

What can we say about Tangierine Cafe? It was one of our favorites, but it hasn’t been the same for a while now and the menus change with each EPCOT festival. Not saying that it’s a bad spot, just that it has not connected with our team as highly as some of the other spots on this list.

Tangierine Cafe

The food here is definitely more unique and adventurous than many other places in Disney World. But, it’s only open during festivals right now!

12. Sommerfest

Over in the Germany Pavilion, you’ll find Sommerfest. It’s located in the back of the pavilion next to Biergarten. The menu does go through some changes from time to time, and it’s a little light on the options.

Sommerfest

We’ve always been fans of the bratwurst, Pretzel Bread Pudding (when you can find it), and those jumbo pretzels.

11. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

What’s a Disney fan to do after riding Frozen Ever After? May we suggest stopping in at Kringla? It’s a great place and we have thoroughly enjoyed eating there in the past.

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe

The seating situation is a bit better than the previous places, but the recommendation is to grab those tables quickly. If there were more options on the menu than mostly pastry items, Kringla would’ve ranked higher for us. It’s a great spot to grab a sweet treat, though!

10. Fife and Drum

You can find Fife & Drum over in the American Adventure pavilion where you’ll encounter Regal Eagle (we’ll talk about that spot later on).

Fide & Drum Tavern

Let’s see…you can grab the basics here like a turkey leg, Mickey pretzel, hot dog, and more. It’s a solid spot — especially if there’s a show happening at the American Gardens Theater.

9. Crêpes a Emporter

Crêpes anyone? There’s absolutely no confusion as to what Crêpes a Emporter serves up, and we’ve enjoyed our times there so far.

Crêpes a Emporter

It’s a great option if you don’t have the time to dine at La Crêperie de Paris next door. You’ll find both sweet and savory crepes on the menu, and they can be a hefty meal or something you split for a smaller snack.

8. Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Alright, this one’s a classic. You can’t miss out on the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavillion.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Like with the previous spot, the name says it all. So, if fish and chips are your jam, plan to stop here. Also, if you want a great view of the World Showcase Lagoon, this is your stop! Our one complaint is that the menu is pretty limited, so if it’s not a chippy you’re after, look elsewhere.

7. Lotus Blossom Café

Missing your local Chinese takeout? If so, look no further than the Lotus Blossom.

Lotus Blossom Café

It’s a solid place with all your local takeout vibes, so think good food, but nothing exceedingly fancy or one-of-a-kind. While it doesn’t have indoor seating, the entire area is covered, so you’ll have a chance to get out of the Florida weather while you eat.

6. Katsura Grill

Sticking with an Asian cusine, we find ourselves recommending Katsura Grill for our number 6 spot. On the menu, you can find the typical kinds of Japanese “fast food” and sushi.

Katsura Grill

But we’re not going there just for the menu. The biggest points go to the ambiance. It’s got some seriously beautiful areas on the outside of this restaurant that you have to take time to enjoy.

5. La Cantina de San Angel

Stay with us. We just made it to the top 5. If you were looking to dine on a more Latin-inspired menu, look no further than La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion. For example, don’t skip out on those nachos or empanadas.

La Cantina de San Angel

With it being a very tasty option comes popularity, so you’ll need to move quickly to beat the crowds. It can get pretty backed up and the seats get filled fast. It’s also outdoor seating only, so keep that in mind on hot days.

4. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion is always a good time.  You can have everything from pastries to soups to sandwiches and you won’t be disappointed.

Les Halles

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? It’s got it all. You’ll even find those sweet treats you were looking for. Now, the only things this place has against it are that the seating is limited and it gets BUSY, with popular items selling out early in the day.

3. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue

We told you we’d talk about this joint and what a place it is. Regal Eagle Smokehouse is THE place to scratch that itch for delicious barbecue in EPCOT.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Now, maybe we’re biased because we’re Muppet fans, so the theming is very appreciated, but there is a lot to love here. Your picky eaters have options to eat and there is a ton of indoor and outdoor seating available.

2. Connections Eatery

Coming in at number 2 we have Connections Eatery! You hear from relators always talking about location, location, and location is the thing that impacts home value and that is so true of this spot. How can you beat being located in the front and center of the park?

Connections Eatery in EPCOT

There are so many items on the menu here and a lot of seating. You’ll just want to be careful during those peak meal times as it can turn into a bit of a zoo in here. You’ll also find lots of spots to charge your phone, and it’s attached to the Starbucks location in this park — Connections Cafe.

1. Sunshine Seasons

And now our number 1 spot, which may be a bit of a shock. Let’s talk about Sunshine Seasons. It truly has it all. Make your way right into The Land Pavilion and you can’t miss it sandwiched between Living with the Land and Soarin’ Around the World.

Sunshine Seasons Seating Area

You can basically find everything you want on the enormous menu and TONS of indoor seating (Which makes it a great place to relax when it’s raining). Again, on the menu, there are plenty of options on the menu for those with special diets. It’s got a little bit of everything you could ever want!
