Are you excited about EPCOT‘s new restaurant?
Yes, that’s right, amongst all of EPCOT’s construction, a new restaurant called Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is coming to the Japan Pavilion. We’ve still got a little bit of time before the restaurant opens, but the first sign is UP!
When we headed over to the restaurant recently to see if anything was new, we noticed that the first sign for the restaurant is up!
Remember that this space, located above Mitsukoshi, is shared with another restaurant, Teppan Edo, which is currently open. It appears to have taken the spot of Tokyo Dining based on its location and a clue on the Disney World website.
Disney has still not announced an opening date for Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, but it is set to open this summer. Also, aspects of the menu will change, so you’ll want to visit more than once!
