NEWS: Update on TRON Lightcycle / Run DVC Previews in Disney World

There is a LOT of excitement about Disney World’s new ride, TRON Lightcycle / Run.

TRON Lightcycle / Run

The ride is currently holding Cast Member previews, but today, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members will get a shot at riding it before it opens on April 4th. However, now, both of those groups have NO availability left for previews of the ride.

We already told you earlier that Annual Passholders no longer could register for previews of TRON Lightcycle / Run. Well, now, DVC member previews registration has also reached capacity, so no more are available.

Disney previously stated that spots would be limited, and when we looked at preview availability, only a few dates were available (usually, previews are held for WEEKS, so this is a VERY limited opportunity).

If you missed your chance at a preview, you can try your luck again on April 4th when the ride officially opens. You will need to snag a boarding group for the virtual queue to ride or purchase the Individual Lightning Lane option. There will be no standby line when the ride opens.

  1. I suspect Disney has more surprises up its sleeve regarding this ride. As of now, no previews have been planned during the week immediately preceding its opening on April 4th. I find it hard to believe that Disney will simply let it sit closed for all that time, so I predict an unannounced soft opening period or perhaps even another special preview to be announced.
