If you’re planning your next Disney World trip, you might want to prepare to work for some dining reservations.

You can schedule dining reservations 60 days prior to your visit, and reservations generally open around 5:45AM Eastern time on Disney’s website (though this isn’t always the case). And with these Disney World restaurants, you probably want to mark your calendar and set your alarm, because they will NOT be easy to get.
Here are the hardest Disney World dining reservations to get in 2022!
Space 220
Space 220 is a newer EPCOT restaurant that opened in September 2021, and since then it has remained a popular spot for diners. Both the Space 220 Lounge and Restaurant are reservation-only, and it can be quite difficult to snag an open reservation.

There is a waitlist option to sit at the bar in the Space 220 Lounge, but keep in mind that you must have at least one adult aged 21 or over in your group to sit there. You can visit Space 220 in person to get on the waitlist, but there’s currently no way to predict whether the waitlist will be open during your visit.
Is EPCOT’s Space 220 worth the price tag?
Be Our Guest Restaurant
Historically, Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom has been a difficult restaurant for which to get reservations. It’s basically an opportunity to dine inside the Beauty and the Beast Grand Ballroom, so it can be a majorly popular spot for many visitors. There are also two other rooms for dining, including the moody West Wing and the Castle Gallery.

Recently, Be Our Guest added brunch dishes and it also now opens earlier at 10AM, which means more opportunities to dine. There is a walk-up waitlist you can join if you can’t get a reservation, and you can get to it through the My Disney Experience app or by visiting the host stand in person.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
If you’re looking for dinner AND a show, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue reopens on June 23rd in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. It has been closed since March 2020, and it will likely be a popular spot after finally reopening.

This two-hour experience is one to consider if you enjoy all-you-can-eat chicken and BBQ pork ribs, and even wine, draft beer, and sangria are unlimited!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ
The highly anticipated Toy Story-themed restaurant Roundup Rodeo BBQ is supposed to open sometime in 2022, although we don’t have an exact opening date yet. It might be difficult to get reservations after it first opens considering its theme and novelty — hello, it’s Toy Story!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be located in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the restaurant will be designed to look like you’re entering a rodeo run by Andy’s toys. We’re watching closely for more updates about an official opening date, so stay tuned!
Here’s what we know about Roundup Rodeo BBQ!
Topolino’s Terrace
Topolino’s Terrace is home to not only a delicious menu featuring French and Italian eats but also some very unique character options! During breakfast, guests can meet with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy, wearing special costumes specific to Topolino’s, which means this is generally a popular spot for reservations.

Topolino’s is located on the rooftop of Disney’s Riviera Resort, which means you get some gorgeous rooftop views and it’s conveniently located on the Disney Skyliner line. Plus when it comes to unique character interactions, this is a must-do restaurant.

Oga’s Cantina
Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is meant to evoke the spirit of the local cantina where you might run into a smuggler (or two), and it’s pretty small and cozy. With a very limited amount of seating, its small space means it’s much harder to get reservations.

Interestingly, reservations are open at Oga’s until 10PM, even though Hollywood Studios typically closes at 9PM, which can be a fun way to stroll around a fairly empty Hollywood Studios after hours. You might also be able to join the waitlist by visiting the restaurant in person, but there’s no guarantee!

Story Book Dining at Artist Point
Storybook Dining at Artist Point reopened in December 2021 in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and it features a unique menu and characters not easily found around Disney World. The restaurant’s design evokes an Enchanted Forest, and you can meet characters such as Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even the Evil Queen!

Story Book Dining is only open for dinner nightly from 4PM to 9PM, which means very few opportunities for reservations. The menu includes shared appetizers, desserts, and plated entrees, including dishes like Beef Stroganoff and Sustainable Fish.

Chef Mickey’s
The full character dining experience is back at Chef Mickey’s, which was already one of Disney World’s most popular restaurants. And with the option to hug characters again, Chef Mickey’s reservations are going to be even more difficult to snag moving forward.

Located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort (walking distance to Magic Kingdom!), Chef Mickey’s is the spot to grab all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast or dinner, and the characters wear adorable chef costumes you generally won’t find anywhere else.
Here’s our full list of character dining locations that are back to “normal!”
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’Â
Especially when it comes to brunch, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs is a hugely popular spot to visit for some delicious fried chicken and moonshine on tap.

Brunch takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30AM to 1PM, but you can also visit Homecomin’ for lunch or dinner. Even with both indoor and outdoor seating, Homecomin’ doesn’t have reservations pop up often, so we recommend checking Disney World’s website or the My Disney Experience app for openings as often as you can!
Check out the 8 NEW items on the menu for Homecomin’!
Le Cellier
Le Cellier, a restaurant you can find in the Canada pavilion of EPCOT, is known for its steak and poutine, and its dining room is decorated to resemble the wine cellar of a grand chateau-style hotel. It’s also tiny, which means fewer reservations available on a general basis.

Le Cellier is one of the most popular places to grab a steak in Disney World, and this is another restaurant with a waitlist typically available, so you can also check on that if you can’t seem to get a reservation.

Victoria & Albert’s
AAA Five Diamond Award recipient Victoria & Albert’s is reopening later in 2022 in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and if you’re looking for a luxurious dining experience, this is the place to go. You can expect to eat up to 11 courses, with fancy foods like caviar and Japanese beef.

Although Victoria & Albert’s is one of the most expensive restaurants in Disney World, it’s also one of the most exclusive, so you’re not looking at easy-to-get reservations. The main dining room generally seats around 48 guests, and there are other rooms that seat only one party per night. Make sure you’re ready to book at your earliest opportunity if you want to dine here!
