Victoria & Albert’s Is Getting CLOSER to Reopening in Disney World

Between the big Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind update and the recent menu preview at Connections Cafe and Eatery, we’ve all been so focused on EPCOT that it can be easy to forget about another big reopening happening later this year!

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, a famous (and expensive) restaurant has remained closed due to the pandemic. While Disney recently shared a small update on the status of this restaurant, some new information proves that the big opening date could be coming soon!

Victoria & Albert’s in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of the fanciest, most expensive, and most exclusive restaurants in Disney World. This place even earned the AAA Five-Diamond rating — it’s that good!

Victoria & Albert’s is an award-winning restaurant

While Disney recently shared that Victoria & Albert’s is set to reopen “later this year,” we still don’t have an exact opening date. (That gives us some time to start saving up!)

In the meantime, it looks like Disney is hard at work preparing for the reopening! The Disney Careers website has a new job listing for a Guest Experience Manager — Food & Beverage at Victoria & Albert’s restaurant.

The post reads, “As a part of the Walt Disney World Resort fine dining leadership team, you will oversee the team to achieve extraordinary service and create a luxury experience for guests from all over the world.” Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Support and teach the role in the show for a Five Diamond & Five Star Restaurant
  • Develop and inspire staff to determine clear performance goals, a progression career path and support them to achieve these goals
  • Evolve and support a cocktail and wine list that is modern and comparable to same level restaurants within the category above mentioned

Now that we know that Disney is hiring Cast Members, it sounds like the restaurant could open soon; we’ll have to wait and see! In the meantime, stay tuned for all the latest Disney news and park updates.
