This program aims to increase diversity in Disney media and in the parks, and we’ve already seen some of Disney’s efforts through more inclusive Cast Member costume guidelines as well as through disability representation in two Marvel projects, for which Disney was awarded. Disney has also made changes in the parks, including the introduction of inclusive merchandise and another form of representation you might have missed.

EPCOT’s newest store, Creations Shop, is home to quite a wide variety of Disney merchandise, but you may have never noticed a diverse form of representation throughout the store.

Creations Shop

If you look closely at all the details throughout Creations Shop, you can see how Disney is committed to inclusivity through their mannequins.

Mannequins

On a recent visit, we spotted one mannequin sitting in a wheelchair, modeling some of the newer 2022 Flower & Garden Festival merchandise.
