Do YOU Know About This Hidden Nod To Disney World's History?

Did you know that you’ve probably been missing A LOT of the Disney World parks when you visit them?

Gertie is a nod to animation history in Hollywood Studios!

While the rides, restaurants, and shops certainly are eye-catching, there are actually a lot of hidden details in each park that adds to that unique Disney atmosphere. For example, you’ve probably heard about hidden Mickeys being something that people hunt for! Well, today we spotted one nod to Disney’s past that was FINALLY fixed!

If you tend to look up while in the parks (which we recommend, as many hidden details are placed above you), you may have noticed the two tribute windows above Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But, for a while now, it’s been a little hard to decipher which character is supposed to be represented in the left window.

…who is that?

Well, that window has FINALLY been fixed! So, now it’s obvious who it is — Roger Rabbit!

Both windows can be found directly above Hollywood & Vine!

If you’re wondering why you’ll find Roger Rabbit in a seemingly random place in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we have to dig deep into Disney Parks’ history. When the park first opened as MGM Studios in 1989, Roger Rabbit was actually one of the focal characters! He was featured in several park promotions and even had some meet and greets.

Now, 30+ years later, it’s hard to come by Roger Rabbit in Disney World, but now you know where to find him! Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more hidden details in the parks so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
