The Fastest Way to Checkout Has Arrived at Another Disney World Store!

Have you ever wished that you could skip the long checkout lines in stores at Disney World?

Well, over the past year and a half, Disney has been rolling out a new Mobile Checkout feature in select stores across the parks. Most recently, the service debuted at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom and now it has arrived at another store in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

This morning, we stopped into Mickey’s of Hollywood to do some shopping and noticed that Mobile Checkout is now available as an option to guests!

Several signs are stationed around the store to help you navigate through the process and all you have to do to get started is scan the QR code on the sign to open up the My Disney Experience app.

Once you have all of your items picked out, you’ll be prompted to scan the barcode on the merchandise into the app where you’ll then process payment. The app will also automatically apply any discounts you might have (as long as your tickets are linked to your account), so you don’t have to worry about not scoring some savings if you’re opting for this quicker checkout experience.

After you’ve paid in the app, you’ll receive an exit QR code that will need to be shown to a Cast Member at the designated Mobile Checkout Exit (just follow the signs). They’ll also offer you a bag for all of your items here.

And, that’s it! Disney has announced that Mobile Checkout will also be coming to Island Mercantile at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for when that launches soon. And, in the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and updates!
