If you’re headed to Disney World but you’re on a tight budget, you can still have a great time!

Disney offers discounts throughout the year, and there are many affordable options for dining during your trip. Besides that, there’s a “Value” category of Disney World Resorts that is perfect for those looking to save.
We’re sharing the best part of Disney’s cheapest hotels so that you can decide where to book!
Pop Century
Kicking things off with Disney’s Pop Century Resort, there are plenty of things that you’ll enjoy about this hotel! First of all, it’s home to a Disney Skyliner station (shared with Art of Animation). Through the Skyliner, you’ll have access directly to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, plus the Riviera and Caribbean Beach Resorts.

Also, the rooms have been recently updated at this resort, with new artwork, laminate flooring, and the addition of a Murphy bed that folds up to reveal a table when stowed away. They’re very modern and the features are incredibly nice for a value resort!

And if you’re looking for a resort that’ll make the adults feel nostalgic, then look no further. Each section of Pop Century is themed to a different decade, and around the resort, you’ll find references to popular things from those decades, whether it’s a giant can of Play-Doh in the 1960s or a Rubik’s Cube in the 1980s!

Art of Animation
Pop Century’s next-door neighbor is Art of Animation Resort, which is Disney’s most thoroughly themed Value resort. Each section of the resort is decorated to match a popular Disney or Pixar movie: The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo.

And unlike the other value resorts, the rooms themselves are themed to match the section of the resort they’re in — touches your family members are sure to love! And you can hop on the Skyliner here and head to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, the Riviera Resort, and Caribbean Beach as well.

If you’re looking to spend some time poolside, then you’ll be glad to know that the Big Blue Pool at this resort is one of the best in the value category. It’s massive and surrounded by fun elements from Finding Nemo. And when you get snacky, just walk on over to the popular pool bar, The Drop Off.

All-Star Movies
The other Value Resort open currently is the All-Star Movies Resort. Like Art of Animation, this resort is themed to various Disney movies, but the rooms were recently updated very similar to Pop Century’s.

Perhaps the best thing about All-Star Movies is the price! It’s the cheapest of the Value Resorts, so you can stay on Disney property even if you’re on a tight budget.

Also, the food court here is really great! Pre-COVID, it was home to a secret menu (that we hope will come back one day!) There are lots of options on the menu and they’re pretty affordable — the perfect place to stop before or after a day in the parks.

So next time you’re trying to decide which Value Resort to pick at Walt Disney World, hopefully, this list will help you make your decision! In the meantime, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the planning tips and advice!
