Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Hotels Will Be Closed to the General Public Until July 29th and Will Be Moving Those With Confirmed Reservations!

As Disney World prepares to reopen their theme parks on July 11th and July 15th, we have begun to see many of their Disney Vacation Club Resorts welcome guests back for the first time since mid-March.

Other resorts on property, however, are holding off on reopening to the general public for just a bit longer.

In an email sent out to guests with existing reservations, the Swan and Dolphin have announced that they will remain closed to the general public until July 29th, 2020. We already learned that these resorts were not taking new reservations until July 29th, but were also asking guests to confirm existing ones.

Guests with existing reservations were previously able to confirm those reservations, due to those guests receiving emails from the Swan and Dolphin asking to confirm their stay. Now, we know that those guests will be moved to the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa.

The Swan and Dolphin was announced to be where the MLS players, coaches, and staff would be staying as they play out their tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The NBA will also be arriving soon to Disney World to resume their season, with those involved staying at either Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, or Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. During their stay, the general public will not be allowed into those areas where players are staying.

Do you have a confirmed reservation at the Swan or Dolphin before July 29th? Let us know in the comments!
