There’s no better way to start a party than with a cavalcade of stars — and that’s exactly what they did in Hollywood Studios this morning as they kicked off the park’s 30th Anniversary events.
Our morning started out with a new button to add to our Disney collection. The button has Mickey front and center in the park’s 30th Anniversary logo.
The cavalcade starred Mickey, Minnie, Toy Story‘s Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Green Army Patrol, The Little Mermaid, Belle and the Beast, and the villagers of Batuu — the setting for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Yesterday we were treated to a sneak peek at one variation of a cast member costume for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge — well today we got more than a sneak peek. Select cast members from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge participated in this morning’s cavalcade in their new costumes and name tags!

After the cavalcade Mickey and Minnie joined the Vice President of Hollywood Studios Phil Holmes as he unveiled a new logo for the park!
