This morning Hollywood Studios kicked off its year-long 30th Anniversary celebrations in a big way — by revealing a new logo!
The logo artwork includes a nod to the three components of the park’s future — Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pixar, and Star Wars.
New concept art was also released illustrating how the logo will look and be used in the park.
This art shows the logo on the arch leading into Animation Courtyard from the Center Stage or Hub area of the park in front of the Chinese Theater.

I personally don’t like it all that much. It seems just a little too basic with the font, with some Disney shoe-horned in. I personally think they should’ve made the font a bit more “hollywood”-ish with the tall, thin letters, like it is now. But I’ll give it time, and I’m sure I’ll warm up to it in no time. A little change in scenery is always good.
