Wait…Did You See that? Disney Just Confirmed A Ride Vehicle Change for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

It’s almost time for The Muppets to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new ride, which will officially open on May 26th, will feature the Muppets in their first EVER thrill attraction.

Disney has already shared a lot of teasers about the ride’s queue, music, animatronics, and pre-show, but as we were re-watching a recent teaser that included our favorite grumpy men, Statler and Waldorf, we noticed something else: the color of the ride vehicles. At the very beginning of the video, the camera pans out, and you see the ride vehicles passing by Statler and Waldorf. Now, it’s fast and definitely a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment, but we noticed that the back of the car is RED.

When this ride was still Aerosmith-themed, both the ride vehicles and the vehicle that hangs from the ride entrance were silver. Well, we know that the ride vehicle on the outdoor entrance is now a myriad of psychedelic colors, with the back of the car being red.

So if the new vehicles aren’t all red, they’re likely done up in the same color scheme as the car at the entrance. So even the ride vehicles got a makeover for the new ride.

Of course, we won’t know for sure until we have a chance to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, but we’ll be doing that very soon, so check back with AllEars for more!
