This EPCOT News Is Sure To Put a Smile on Your Face

In a year that started with a banger with EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, who would’ve thought the best EPCOT news of the year would be this?!

Spaceship Earth

EPCOT has many attractions to offer guests, and one of the more underrated ones is The Seas pavilion, which has one of the largest aquariums in the world. If you love the aquarium at The Seas as much as we do, you HAVE to make a stop there as soon as you can. The aquarium just got some new seadragons, and we’ve got to show you!

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!

It looks like EPCOT has some new guests, as seadragons have arrived at The Seas pavilion! Right now, they are in the nursery, which is still mostly enclosed by curtains. The reason for this is that the care team is getting them used to having a lot of people around staring at them — which will happen with these adorable creatures.

The curtain is up!

What’s cool is that they already have a little sign up with some details about them — specifically, how they’re masters of disguise.

“Master of Disguise”

While we were at The Seas, we got to learn a little bit about them. Did you know that seadragons don’t have a preference for dark or light environments? As long as the environment is cold, they’re good to go. Couldn’t be us, although we’ll probably get jealous when summer hits in Florida.

Seasdragons are in there!

Their enclosures have coolers inside them that keep the water around 70 degrees all year round. Oh, and did you know that seadragons are a little bigger than seahorses?!

So cute!!

This group of seadragons at EPCOT is currently seven months old. We were thrilled to hear that they’ll be here as a permanent part of the aquarium. Cast Members haven’t been able to determine which are males and females, since that’s hard to determine until they’re about one year old.

Welcome to EPCOT!

The seadragons have been pretty popular since getting to the park. Eventually, the curtains will slowly start coming down. Cast Members also said that they were still working on the enclosure for them. If you do go to visit them, there will be Cast Members there to answer any questions you have.

You need to check them out!
