It’s Official! You Can Meet 4 RARE Characters In Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Changes are hitting Hollywood Studios!

Myranda with Mary Poppins!

The Muppets are taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Monstropolis is coming to life, and that’s just scratching the surface. In addition to the big changes, you might start seeing some familiar (but rare) faces around the park!

If you’re heading to Hollywood Studios soon, you need to keep your eyes peeled for new Disney character meet and greets! These new offerings are located in front of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and we are seriously excited because these are friends you see all the time in Disney World.

Hi, Mary!

First, we met up with Mary Poppins, who was looking practically perfect (no surprise). We met Mary a little after the park opened, because she starts meeting at 9 AM. Another character that you can catch first thing in the morning is Pinocchio!

Pinocchio!

Pinocchio is also meeting at the end of Hollywood Blvd in front of the attraction. Both Pinocchio and Mary Poppins meet at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:50 PM, 2:50 PM, and 3:50 PM according to the My Disney Experience app.

He’s a popular guy!

They aren’t the only classic characters you can meet, though! Rotating with Mary, you can find Bert along with a dancing penguin from Mary Poppins. We often see this sweet penguin during character paloozas in EPCOT, but this might be one of the only times we’ve seen these two at a formal meet and greet!

Bert and a penguin!

Pinocchio also brought over a friend, because Jiminy Cricket can also be found at these new meet and greets! Bert and Jiminy will appear at 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:20 PM, and 3:20 PM.

Look how good he looks!

These four characters are on the rarer side in Disney World! You can see them often in parades like the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade and the Festival of Fantasy Parade, but being able to meet them up close doesn’t happen often. Mary Poppins does meet in the early mornings in EPCOT, but finding your conscience (Jiminy) really only takes place during after-hours events.

People love Jiminy Cricket!

We are seriously excited to see these additions to the park while it’s in the process of changing so much, and we hope they stick around for a long time! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
