EPCOT is a dream destination for all of us Disney-loving grown-ups.

Between the global cuisine, iconic attractions, and cultural experiences, there’s so much to do beyond just meeting Mickey. But if you haven’t done these specific things, can you really call yourself a true Disney Adult? Let’s find out!
Drinking Around the World
This one is a rite of passage. If you’ve strolled through World Showcase without sipping on a margarita in Mexico, a pint in the UK, or a sake in Japan, are you even EPCOT-ing right?

But don’t worry — if alcohol isn’t your thing, there are plenty of delicious mocktails, specialty sodas, and non-alcoholic beverages to keep you in on the fun. The key is to embrace the flavors from each country and make a day (or at least a few hours) of it.
Eating Around the Festival Booths
EPCOT has four incredible festivals throughout the year, and each one is packed with food booths offering small plates from around the world.

Whether it’s the Food & Wine Festival in the fall, the Festival of the Arts in the winter, Flower & Garden in the spring, or Festival of the Holidays in December, you haven’t truly done EPCOT as a Disney Adult unless you’ve nibbled your way through at least one of them. Bonus points if you’ve planned a whole visit around a must-try dish.
Tricking Your Friends into Trying Beverly at Club Cool
Here’s another Disney World rite of passage. If you’ve been to Club Cool, you know exactly what we’re talking about.

Beverly, the infamous Italian soda, has a uniquely bitter taste that catches unsuspecting newbies off guard. If you haven’t gleefully handed a tiny cup of it to a friend and watched their reaction, you’re missing out on one of EPCOT’s most hilarious traditions.
Riding Spaceship Earth and Narrating It Yourself
Yes, Judi Dench does a fantastic job, but every true Disney Adult has ridden Spaceship Earth enough times to start doing their own commentary.

Maybe you’ve dramatically announced “Thank the Phoenicians” to your group or thrown in your own jokes about Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel. Either way, if you’re sitting silently through this ride, you’re doing it wrong.
Telling Your Group That Their Food Is from Living with the Land
Whether you’re dining at Garden Grill or grabbing a quick meal at Sunshine Seasons, if you haven’t casually dropped the fact that some of the produce comes straight from EPCOT’s own greenhouses, you’re missing a prime Disney Adult moment.

It’s the perfect way to flex your Disney knowledge and impress your group with a little farm-to-table trivia.
Talking to Cast Members from Around the (Literal) World
One of the most special things about EPCOT is its Cultural Representative Program, which brings Cast Members from different countries to work in their home pavilion.

Whether you’re chatting with a server in France, a shopkeeper in Japan, or a storyteller in Morocco, taking the time to ask about their experiences and culture adds a whole new level of appreciation to the World Showcase. If you’ve never stopped to learn something new from a Cast Member, you’re missing out on one of EPCOT’s best experiences.

So, are you officially a Disney Adult? If you haven’t checked off all of these, you’ve got some work to do!
