Why You’ll Regret Not Bringing Loads of Extra Socks to Disney World

There are so many things you need to think of packing for Disney World.

We want you to be prepared for every situation, and while many people think to bring rain gear like ponchos and umbrellas, they forget about the shoe situation. The last thing you want to deal with is soggy shoes and wet socks.

Currently, Central Florida, where Disney World is, is in its rainy season. It can rain a lot especially in the summer months, but don’t let this ruin your park day!

We always recommend packing a lot of extra pairs of socks! You never know when it is going to rain, and carrying an extra pair to the parks can make your park day way more enjoyable if you get caught in the rain.

It is also always a good idea to pack an extra pair of park shoes. Even if you are not able to change your shoes mid-day, it is good to have them on hand when you get back to your resort. That way you can let the wet pair dry and use your other pair.

While you could wear Crocs or flip-flops to the park, it can be hard to walk in them while they are wet. So if you are Team Sneakers at Disney World make sure to pack a lot of extra socks! It is better to be safe than sorry.
