BREAKING: Opening Date Revealed For Test Track in Disney World

A lot of exciting things are happening in Disney World.

Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new Zootopia show is coming to replace It’s Tough To Be A Bug. Dinoland, U.S.A. will get a Tropical Americas re-theme to become Pueblo Esperanza with two new rides. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a Monsters, Inc. land. Magic Kingdom is getting a Cars land and a Villains Land. Over in EPCOT, Test Track has been closed to be reimagined, which is also exciting. Now, we know when the NEW version of Test Track will open.

Test Track initially closed on June 17th, 2024 to become a new version of itself. Disney previously revealed the ride would reopen in 2025, but now Disney has revealed a specific opening date for the ride: July 22nd. That’s right, you’ll soon be able to check out how Test Track has changed.

Test Track will be sponsored by General Motors (parent company of Chevrolet), but the new ride will push innovation forward. The new version of the ride will celebrate “today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.” The new queue will feature six exhibits to celebrate vehicles and the people behind the vehicles.

The ride will also feature new show scenes celebrating technological advances, while the ride will take you to the scenic outdoors to celebrate the technology that made it possible.

The exterior of the ride is also getting a new look. Although “new” might be relative here — the “new” look is actually a throwback to the original pavilion’s design when the ride was World of Motion.
