The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is right around the corner, and we can’t wait!

This year, the festival runs from February 28th through May 27th, which is a little earlier than usual. But like years past, there will be plenty of delicious eats, fun activities, and exclusive merchandise items to check out. If you’re planning to visit, there’s ONE thing you can’t forget to bring!
Since the Flower & Garden Festival is filled with stunning topiaries and floral displays and it takes place smack dab in the middle of spring…there’s a LOT of pollen hanging around. If that’s something you struggle with, you need to be prepared!

We recommend packing some allergy meds if you’re heading to the parks, and especially EPCOT, in the coming months. You certainly don’t want to be miserable during your visit, and with almost all of the festival offerings located outside, you’ll be spending quite a bit of time in close proximity to plants.

It might be a good idea to try some different allergy medicine types before your trip to see what works best for you. It’s certainly not a “one size fits all” thing.

Once you’re set with your allergy medicine, you’ll be ready to snap pictures with the topiaries, explore the butterfly garden, complete Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt, and eat lots of food. It’s going to be a great festival!

We’ll be at the festival on its first day, so stay tuned to AllEars for all the updates!
