The 2 BEST Things on the Menu at Regal Eagle in Disney World

It’s no secret that we have some favorite foods in Disney World.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

We’ll always talk about how much we love the Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Or why we’ll always get the Totchos at Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Well, we’re about to tell you about TWO of our favorite things at EPCOT and you can find both at Regal Eagle Smokehouse.

So how about some background on Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Crafts Drafts & Barbecue? The restaurant can be found in the American Adventure Pavilion. The Regal Eagle in question? Sam the Eagle from the Muppets. So yes, if you’re a Muppets fan, you already have a good reason to eat there.

So patriotic

The menu is all about “a salute to barbecue” and includes barbecue styles from multiple regions of the U.S. But what should you order here? Well, our team has two favorites, and we will argue these are the best things on the menu.

First up is the Loaded Burnt Ends Fries, made with Seasoned French Fries with Burnt Ends, Macaroni & Cheese, and Beer-battered Onion Rings. You get loads of cheesy mac and cheese and tasty brisket on top of fries and then topped with onion rings. This may sound like a side dish, but trust us, this is a full meal. This is also our most-ordered thing at Regal Eagle. It’s like a combination of all our Disney favorite side dishes with brisket.

We also have a favorite dessert here, too, though. It’s the S’mores Brownie. It’s got a graham cracker crust with a brownie base on top of that. Then topping it all off is chocolate frosting and toasted marshmallow whip. The brownie is always moist with a cake-like texture and although you might expect this to be sickeningly sweet, the flavors balance each other out. If you love s’mores, well, it tastes JUST like a s’mores!

  1. A someone who use to judge completion BBQ with the Kansas City BBQ Society, I was surprised how good the Regal Eagle offering were. I had the brisket and ribs meal. The brisket had a nice smoke on it, pulled gently apart, flavorful and juicy.
The ribs were more of Texas style “salt and pepper” ribs (more savory than sweet) which I like. In competition “fall off the bone ribs” would get bad marks as over-cooked – And these ribs were not that! They were tender, flavorful with a proper texture so when you took a bite it left a bite-mark without all the meat falling off. The bone itself was white, not gray which indicates proper cooking.

Overall – Great! And the side were just as god too.
