BREAKING: Disney Announces Jollywood Nights — a NEW Holiday Party for Hollywood Studios!

Seem a bit early for that? You’re not alone! However, Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays, which means they are making a slew of announcements for the holiday season this year. While we expected to learn more about the returning Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney shocked us with its latest news!

Disney has previously teased these holiday announcements…and the teaser for Disney World was covered in clues that pointed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now we know why — a brand new holiday event is coming to the popular park!

The event is called Jollywood Nights (see what they did there?) and it’s a brand NEW separately ticketed After Hours event that will take place on select nights from November 11th through December 20th from 8:30PM to 12:30AM.

The limited-capacity event will include a DJ spinning holiday tunes, while Kermit and Miss Piggy host a LIVE holiday special at Theater of the Stars. There will be a festive sing-along at Hyperion Theater and Commissary Lane will have a “lively Latin Street Fair.” The Hollywood Brown Derby will have a jazz lounge and there will be an “other-worldly soiree” at the Tower Hotel Courtyard.

The nighttime show Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will return, too, with music, fireworks, special effects, and projections. There will also be holiday photo ops and Magic Shots available, and all ticketed guests will get their digital PhotoPass downloads from the party FOR FREE. Characters will also be on hand for photos with special holiday props, including some RARE characters like Powerline Max and Phineas and Ferb.

Ticketed guests will also have access to many Hollywood Studios’ rides, including Slinky Dog Dash, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror. During the event, Rise of the Resistance will also be available via a virtual queue.

Most importantly, some exclusive snacks will be available at the party, too. You’ll be able to grab Spicy Korean Chicken on a Mini Funnel Cake and a Christmas Tree Cookie Stack, as well as classic cocktails and holiday beverages.

Dates for the parties in November are November 11th, 18th, 20th, 27th, and 29th. In December, Jollywood Nights will take place on December 4th, 6th, 16th, 18th, and 20th.

Tickets will go on sale for Disney World hotel guests, as well as guests at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green on June 29th. Tickets will go on sale to the rest of the public on July 6th. Tickets will range in price from $159 to $179 per person, depending on the date. Tickets can be purchased from the Disney World website on those dates.
